These songs were composed during a week of silent retreat at the Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre in Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada. Silence and meditation on God's word created the space in which these songs came into existence. The songs are presented as a dialogue between God and the disciple. A brief narrative is given before each song as well as a scripture reference.
The listener may wish to enter more deeply into this project by meditating upon the given scripture passage prior to listening to each song. Find a quiet place, relax, read the passage slowly. Remain in silence for a period of time and then play the song and make your listening a time of prayer.
